Welcome to Mud Haven Pottery Studio, a pottery wheel teaching studio located in the heart of downtown Grantville, GA.
We believe in creative freedom. Learning and creating at your own pace while connecting with the wheel and clay. It's just patience and time on the wheel to learn this craft. Mud Haven will be there to teach and guide you with your creative process.
Our Ongoing Wheel Classes & Workshops are designed for adults and kids age 14 and older.
We do offer a few Hand Building and Wheel Workshops that are kid friendly. Ages 7 & up. Double check that the class is Kids/Adults when you book online.
We also offer personal workshops outside of our normal schedule for groups of 4-8 people. Text or call 818-531-5886 for availability.

About Your Pottery
There is no guarantee for the quality or functionality of fired work. Every precaution will be take to ensure the best possible outcome for your pieces. Mistakes and misfirings do happen, and you must not hold studio staff responsible for any damage to your work. Try not to fall in love with your pottery, till it’s complete and safe at home.
We use stoneware clay and only food safe glaze. Your able to eat and drink from your pieces. They are also microwave, refridgerator and dishwasher safe. You never want to “shock” your pottery- hot to cold, cold to hot too quickly.
For our Workshops we quote 4-8 weeks for finished pieces. Most times, your pieces will be finished sooner but we need to quote longer just in case of high volume and or equipment issues/storms.
